Courtesy Visit by KIASHAC to FHPK, UMK Strengthens Strategic Collaboration in the Halal Industry
The courtesy visit by representatives from the Sultan Ismail Petra International Islamic University College Halal Centre (KIASHAC) to the Faculty of Hospitality, Tourism and Wellness (FHPK), Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) on 28 April 2026 marked a significant milestone in fostering a new chapter of strategic collaboration, particularly in advancing halal practices within the Food and Beverage (F&B) sector and the hospitality industry.
The productive meeting, which involved six KIASHAC representatives and the management team of FHPK, served as a dynamic platform for exchanging ideas, sharing technical expertise, and exploring broader opportunities for collaboration. These opportunities encompass research initiatives, academic development, professional training, and the strengthening of industry networks.
It is hoped that this partnership will continue to flourish and generate positive impacts not only for both institutions but also for the growth and advancement of Malaysia’s halal industry. May this collaboration serve as a catalyst for future joint initiatives and further strengthen strategic partnerships in the years ahead.
